TB-dito. The tree inspection hammer.

Prologue.

The goal was always to build a cool device that suits us arborists and motivates us. With DIY tools from the digging table, this positive effect is somehow too short. ENJOY YOUR WORK.

Some things you don’t really question in spite of better knowledge, you just act. But if something went wrong, you remember a small mental impulse in the decision-making phase. To a small cell that was desperate to communicate. But she failed to light the fireworks through the synapse. You think, „It’s a pity that I didn’t think about it properly, if I knew better, then things would have gone differently. “ You just don’t have time, a lot on your mind, the daily business calls. But if the cell manages to sensitize the brain to that moment, then improvements can occur. It was at such a moment that the idea for TB-dito was born.

Actually, we didn’t have time for such a project. But at first it was just my own hammer, welded together after work. Only later came the idea that this device is actually needed by every arborist. And who builds something for the small green industry? For arborists, tree inspectors and co? We knew if we didn’t do it ourselves, nothing would happen.

Dictum, factum. Put together what belongs together.

During the two-and-a-half-year development period, we implemented ideas, advice, wishes, visions and suggestions from professionals who used the device in their daily work. We would like to thank all those involved (friends, employees, tree inspectors, appraisers, suppliers, customers, . . . ). They ran the project without knowing it and we followed every advice and every criticism unreservedly. Unfortunately, this has often called into question the feasibility and progress made so far. We came straight back to the start without major detours. Development work is one of the hardest jobs ever.

The tools.

TB-dito Standard. The essence.

TB-dito is a tree inspection hammer, you could also call it a tree inspection hoe. Since the hammer function is probably the main function for most users, this applies to only a few enthusiasts. This describes the essential functions. Hammer and hoe. For the hammer you can choose the execution of the impact insert, plastic or rubber. Every tree inspector is well equipped and ready-to-go with the standard version of TB-dito, e. g. for those who want to use their own probe rod and who find it too annoying to screw on the multitool.

TB-dito Multitool. May the most important things be with you.

In the multitool version we have packed everything your heart desires. In addition to hammer and hoe, a probe rod, a scraper knife, a scale and in combination you can measure the height of a tree. We still need a laser pointer and a telescope. Extremely practical, for example, for preparing offers for private customers, so you don’t have to run to the car again and again. For interested, tool-oriented customers, the appointments take a little longer. Of course, the impact insert is also selectable here.

TB-dito Holster LOCK. Now you will never loose.

A customer conversation resulted in the „Lock“-version of TB-dito holster. Our client had to look for his diagnostic tool on a steep slope, as it had fallen out of the holster unnoticed. For this reason, we pimped our holster with the LOXX® stainless steel lock. Only pulling up the cap releases the tool. The safety clasp is really an ingenious part and fits wonderfully with this high-quality tool. The closure is not riveted, but screwed, so that in case of loss of function a spare part can easily be mounted. The holster is personalized with 2 x 8 digits, including course. The holster is made of high-quality water buffalo leather and with good care probably inheritable.
